 The Eco-Issue for Hillcrest News is now online! Read articles online about Hillcrest and our environment. Bitstrips The students are being introduced to Bitstrips during our Computer Lab period. There are currently 3 activities for students to work on - "My Life as a Comic", "Family Portrait", and "Wacky Classroom". Students are also welcome to create their own comics and even publish their spelling stories through Bitstrips! Grade 5 Project Give Back Project Give Back charity presentations start in January. Each student has been notified of their presentation date, as it is written with their PGB folder and a schedule is posted in the classroom. All students are encouraged to post a comment each week, and participate in our online class discussion. Class time will be available, or post from home!  
 In class, we read the story book, "The Golden Rule". The message of the story is, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", or as we rephrased in class, "treat people the way you would like to be treated". We are each responsible for our words and actions. "It begins with you". |
