Project Give Back
Presentation class outline for students
Students will have about 10 minutes for their presentation, as 3-4 students will be presenting in the class.
During his time the student will; 1) Give a 2-3 minute speech (which they have already written in class, just needs editing & rehearsing). This is the "Grabbers & Closers" sheet. Please bring me a copy on their presentation day.
2) Create a visual display (usually on bristol board) where the name of the charity is prominent and neat. The mission statement, or a paragraph about what the charity does and who it helps is clear for anyone to read. Students can add to the display however they want with photos (and captions), borders, quotes. They can show their own creativity here. 3) There will be a brief comments, question & answer time from their classmates. 4) Mr. Sternberg's class will also
create a 10 minute activity, as a funraiser. Ms. Clancy & Ms.
Ling's class will be doing a "carnival" type funraiser over 2 classes
later in the term as there is not enough class time after
all the presentations.
Class Schedule Room 213's class schedule has been posted online and there is also a printable version. Click here to view the class schedule. “Wonky Weeks” – the school year will have a regular Day 1-5 schedule on weeks that are Monday-Friday, with Monday always being Day 1. During weeks that are 4-days or holidays, one day of the Day 1-5 schedule will be eliminated. An announcement will be made the week prior to the “Wonky Week”, as to which day of the Day 1-5 schedule will be taken out (e.g. no Day 3 this week).
