Hello, My name is Ms. Ling. I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little more about me. This is my 5th year of teaching and I am happy to be teaching Grade 4/5 this year in room 213. My background is Chinese and I was born and raised in Canada in the town of Brantford, Ontario. I grew up and lived in Brantford until I attended the University of Waterloo.  After university, I moved to Toronto and worked for a couple of years. I decided to apply for Teachers' College and graduated from the OISE program at the University of Toronto. During my first year of teaching, I worked in York Region, then came to the TDSB towards the end of the school year. Since then, I have been teaching in the TDSB and have enjoyed this profession very much.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, attending live theatre, dining out, and keeping active. I like to regularly snowboard, golf, play Ulimate Frisbee, and bicycle.  I am looking forward to working with our Grade 4/5 class this year and getting to know each student better, to help them achieve success. I'm very excited about the learning opportunities in the school year. I
