Ms. Ling's Grade 5 Website

On Thursday October 15th room 213 and a lot of other schools were invited to the Raptors basketball practice and the Read to Achieve program. The event took place at the ACC. Room 213 took the subway to get to the ACC. When we got there we saw all the basketball players and room 213 saw the raptors mascot raptor. Raptor did amazing flips and they were very wacky. We went there till 9:00 - 1:00.

Toronto Raptors

On Thursday, October 15th Ms. Ling's grade five class went to the ACC for a Toronto Raptors open practice for the program Read to Achieve. They took the subway there first thing in the morning. ''It was packed!'' said Reid. The players played some cool games and Raptor did a thing where he bounced of a trampoline and did some wacky flips. “It was amazing!” said Halle.” It was very interesting!’ said Ana. They got back at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon. They took the subway back.  “It was so cool!” said Isaac. Ms. Ling’s grade five class had a great time!

On Thursday, October 15th, Ms.Ling's grade 5 class left in the morning to go see the Raptors Read to Achieve practice.They took the subway to the ACC where it watched and ended up sitting really close to the court and saw the whole tall team along with their Raptor mascot.The Raptor did some crazy flips! Untill lunch,they sat there in the busy, loud stadium with over 50 other schools there as well.Twelve o'clock came and they lest very excited to read!
